Heavy duty expanded mesh making machines
Heavy-duty expanded metal mesh machines are used to punch and stretch metal sheets to produce expanded metal mesh—including anti-glare screens, expanded metal grating, and diamond-patterned mesh. Typically, the sheet thickness ranges from 5 to 10 mm, with mesh strand pitches (center-to-center distances) of 50–200 mm for the long way and 25–100 mm for the short way. After undergoing a flattening process, the product forms a three-dimensional mesh structure.

Applicable materials: Low-carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum-magnesium alloy, aluminum, copper, titanium, and nickel.

Hole shapes: Diamond, hexagonal, round, fish-scale, decorative, tortoise-shell, and near-square.

Primary applications of heavy-duty expanded metal mesh: Anti-slip grating and foot-traffic mesh; working platforms, stairways, and walkways for heavy machinery, boilers, oil wells, locomotives, and large-tonnage ships. It also serves as reinforcement in the construction industry and for highway and railway bridges. Additionally, it is widely used for anti-glare barriers and safety fencing along highways and railways, as well as for emergency access routes. It is also suitable for use as safety netting and protective fencing for roads and railways.
